HELP the bleed screw has snapped in the housing!!

Hi

As title says anyone had this problem / know how to fix it?

anyone know the size thread of the screw so i can maybe try drilling it then using a dye to repair it?

Thermostat housing? If it's sealed I wouldn't worry about it; I've never used that bleed screw, I always just take the radiator cap off and "burp" it.

oh sorry i forgot to mention its the coolant one under the distributer cap

yes pobody thats the one plus its leaking slightly

Remove the housing and drill the bolt out.

Try using an easy out on it after you've drilled it

if you remove the distributor you may be able to do it in situ.

thanks for help everyone i managed to get it out with out damaging the thread i took the whole thermostat housing off many thanks for help
