You need to be a paid member to sell.
15: Buying & Selling

All selling (including px - swap) reserved for PAID MEMBERS ONLY.....

List your parts in the correct section.

All Group Buy offers must be authorised by a member of the Mod/Admin team before being posted.

Any individual seen to be making unreasonable profit from organising a GB through a trader will have their GB stopped.

Anyone caught trading for personal benefit under their personal account without prior consent from a member of the Mod/Admin team will be warned and then banned.

Buying from Japan and Selling to the UK Members is blatant profiteering and won't be tolerated either.

The selling of vehicles is restricted to PAID MEMBERS ONLY.

Buying and Selling

The GTiR Owners Club has various buying and selling sections that are open to read by anybody, as a member who has not made a membership donation to the Owners Club and forums you will not be able to post cars for sale in the GTi-R's For Sale section, if you do however attempt to advertise your car in another forum/section your advert will be removed without warning. The GTi-R's For Sale section is only open to GTIROC members that have paid there donation. The GTiR Owners Club holds no responsibility for any Buying and Selling that takes place between people that have not made a membership donation to the Owners Club. All sales that take place in the "open to all" sections are private from theGTiR Owners Club and are done at the seller or buyers own risk; the Moderators and Admin will not be involved with any problems that arise between any persons that have not made a membership donation to the Owners Club.

If you want to make selling and buying less risky then please consider making a donation and using the Members Buying & Selling section. If problems arise in this section then the Moderators/Admin can intervene to hopefully resolve issues.
I don't think £20.90 is a huge price to pay when you consider the amount you get from selling the car, but obviously I can understand that it's not really worth paying so that you can sell-up.

Add £20.90 onto your sale price?

Why don't you write a 'just gauging intrest' thread. :-D

Seems to work for all the other non paying members!

£20 isnt a lot of money however ebay wont be much more, but you can't compare the audience between the two.

Selling a car for £2500 ends up costing £35, but you are paying for the audience that will see it compared to on here.

If you advertise it, it's just £10 then try and negotiate with the buyer IE let them view while auction is still running and sell it to them :D

£10 and thats all ;)

Edit: Quick search explains the fees, hope it helps - http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/sell/motorfees.html

The last time I was on this site was 8 years ago ish, infact that's when I had my last Pulsar when I started looking on here, the other forum, ebay and pistonheads I couldn't believe how dead/quiet everything GTIR related has become, but then again I only remember how it was in 2003/04

Most people have developed the cars to a point where it will cost a lot more for R&D and companies have written off ours cars now.

The current climate doesn't help either, hense why people arn't as committed with these cars!

thanks for the comments all, I'm trying not to go the ebay way as the enviroment is "i.e - I'll give you £1000 less than what you want any good?" basically traders seeing a bargin with all the mods etc. I know what your saying about the buyers looking for pulsars Geoff, and agree. Thing is performance cars are not for your young street racers mainly because of the insanely expensive insurance but the car is just sitting in the garage waiting to come out and play, its only come out for car shows and a track day so far and my previous high powered cars also just sat in the garage waiting lol - mainly due to having the company car. But with a wedding around the corner I can't justify having anything "Racey" sitting in the garage anymore. At least not for another year or two.
