can i drive a car thats insured under a trade policy on my own fully comp insurance

i was under the impression if the car is insured and i have owners consent i could drive under my fully comp insurance
when i get time i will call my insurance company and see what they say

It depends on your policy with the insurers. I can drive any car 3rd party under my fully comp insurance as long as the other vehicle is insured but it does not apply for vehicles that fall under trade policy. Each policy is different so no easy answer unfortunately
