lool I'll present that to the current owner ..
he might either fade out or die laughing or hit me hard in my face hahaha

I'm noticing that this is a 1997 model .. can it be there was something different in 1995?
and this has FNN15-006437 .. which is a greater number than that I sent you .. does that refer to the production number by any chance?

Okay, so based on the info you gave me yesterday, it looks like the paperwork has been fiddled with just to get this car imported.
It's showing as a PULSAR
FNN15 4WD GA15DE 1500 01.95- Or an FNN15 4WD SR20 SR-V.
These come in N/A non turbo form.
Nothing changes the fact that this is not an RNN14 (GTI-R).

It is not a run-on of models with different chassis numbers or anything that can be imagined from that.

My suggestion is that it has had a front end collision and fitted with an FNN15 front cut (firewall, rails and wheel wells) welded onto an RNN14 rear end and RNN14 front panels fitted. Thus you end up with what looks like a RNN14 GTI-R but the FNN15 stamp on the firewall.

Something is dodgy and if the seller cannot provide the CORRECT information, it is a rebirthed vehicle and as such, illegal in most parts of the world.

None of this matters, Andy Sunny Gti was using that number as an EXAMPLE, not fact.

The important fact is the vehicle you are looking at is STAMPED FNN15, it has been cut-n-shut with an FNN15 firewall and whatever else has been changed and the lot welded up to make it LOOK like a GTI-R.

So, from this you could assume that this vehicle has been pranged at least once.

I checked for welds .. and there seem to be nothing .. however this might have be professionally done ..
but based on the fact that it is not "named" GTI-R, I won't be paying a GTI-R price .. I MIGHT still buy it .. but for a reasonable price
