W11 SR20DET

Hi Team,

So I just picked up a GTiR that's been sitting in a shed for 2 years, unfortunately, someone has thrown the original motor out and fitted a W11 Avenir Sr20det .

I feel like I've searched for a good amount of time to ask the question....Surely someone has done this before!! I'm struggling to find any wiring diagrams for the W11, I could take the time to figure it out but what the point in reinventing the wheel if it's been done before right?

Yea so here in New Zealand, we have a ton of Jap import Nissan Avenir's, most of the ones I've seen are sr20det 4wd, you can pick them up for super cheap, about 1200 ish!

I guess the old owner thought this would be easier to get parts for after the redtop died.

Also I found a diagram so I should get it running shortly, I'll start a build thread soon [emoji6]

is the drive train the same? as in would it be a good supply of gearboxes etc

That's a "VVL" head, or just the rocker cover? - If so, that's an SR20VET.

Unfortunately not they only came out in auto [emoji58] so I'll have to refrain from doing launches to keep the factory one together still haha

Unfortunately just a rocker cover [emoji17] but plans are to go down the VET route once I've done a few track days in it
