16x8" with et + 35

Hi , guys , currently in the process of putting my R on the streets again after 10 years of not running it in the streets. I´m wondering if wheels of the previous mentioned size fit the R pretty well ? I´m looking to run the willwood 286 mm front brake kit also

I run ET38's with no clearance issues on 16's with Wilwoods back in the day. They "should" be fine!

Now I've got 6 pot K-Sports and still clear the brakes just!

Hmm 16x8 you might struggle, mine are 16x7 and don't rub, but they are close to the arches.

You might be fine apart from when you have the steering at full lock?

I've never had any wheels wider than 7" but had 7x16 with 225/45/16 R888's and 7x17 with 225/625/17 tarmac rally tyres (which were pretty big) and never had any rubbing issues. Both et35.
