Does anyone have contact details for ‘powerfreack’. Think his name is Paul and based in Lincoln.

Bought a block couple of weeks ago but its not arrived yet .

It was done via pm's on this forum.

He sent photos and gave lots of detail about the block.

I sent the money on the 14th.

Am sure its fine, just me being impatient.

it may be nothing, but you should of had it by now if the block was out of car!

cant say that i remember him on here, was he a newbie?

he told me he had sent it off 24hrs before asking for payment. i said when i received it in satisfactory condition i would pay the £150 no problem, he then sent me a couple of nasty emails and the block never arrived !
it was on the other forum this happened.

His pm's were very detailed and we chatted about specs and what I was doing with the engine etc. No reason not to trust him, seemed a good bloke. But, guess that might end up biting me in the ****. £130 down the drain.

In any case, I can't bugar about. C'mon then, who's got a block, I need another one...

Do paypal have any kind of fraud reporting like ebay?

Yeah Paypal have the fraud protection. There was a big scam on fiestanet and escortweb where this guy conned loads of money out of people.

I think if the seller either doesnt reply to paypal or cant prove delivery then youl get your money back.

it takes a month before you can further the claim, so it may give him a kick up the butt!
in all fairness you should of had it by now.
have you got his address if you paid via paypal?

Started a 'dispute' via paypal. Basically just sends an e-mail to the seller, with paypal backing it up.

I'll give it a couple of days before uprating to a 'claim' where paypal investigate.

I might be jumping the gun, its only been two weeks, might be on holiday or plain forgotten.

Apparently the blokes name is Paul. Although his paypal addy is John Saxon.

He's from Lincoln. Heard another story about him selling bits with dodgy results.
