just wondering
what the best hp for GTiR to achieve potential

i have driven single 800hp GTR33 before which i call a plain wasted car since driveablility is sucks
a 500hp twin turbo on GTR32 is superd to drive.
responsive and 4wd power

thinking on a 350hp with a responsive ball bearing turbine , rev cut 8k rpm
and some minor work on the suspension stuff

this is based on a full interior car..

400 with ball bearing turbo is where im aiming more maybe more if turbo will do it
as on last car this was very responsive on the road and very quick out of bends etc
and think it needs quite a bit of suspension work tbh

I agree, squeeze 400+ out of the smallest ball bearing turbo you can.

This is the same approach I used when building my car and 430 break in something the weight of a fag box for the British roads is great fun.

anything pulsar over about 300bhp well set up and well driven will see off most things down twisty b roads

Slap u back..... HKS2540 not good enough for u ah?

Aiyah if u want something nice and responsive maybe do up a high comp sr20det with a GTSS turbine.

Doesn't Turblio (Frank) get 380 bhp with the GT28RS with the bigger housing?

400 bhp with the turbo the size of the GT28RS must be great fun 8).

baby god..
the HKS 2540 is good
it really suit my taste since i prefer laggy a bit car
but i like to try responsive driving since it is 4wd..
not 2wd like my ex car

so thinking to upgrading a responsive turbo
the 2540 really fun for street drive
a bit lag, but still responsive that OEM Turbine
but i havent try to rev above 4500rpm yet since fuel tank leaking issue

thinking after sort out the fuel tank issue
then try to max the power band again

3071 on a GTI-R makes for a wicked wicked street car - the 0.86 gives it serious top end with some boost under it.

If you wanted to run 11's and do it easily, 3071 is the go :)

Can a 3071 be bolted to a standard engine? If so how long will the engine last? Or is it a case of needing a forged engine to handle it?

Anything can be bolted to a standard engine  just got to make sure you have everything else to help out and that its set up by somebody who knows what they are doing.unlike the person in the traders section who tried to map peshs car
