Well I am in no rush to fit it, so won't until its thoroughly cleaned.

I didn't have it blasted btw, it came like that.

Just like to resurect this as its quiet funy that I was reading this and thinking shit now what a stupid idea to sandblast a rockercover and thinking how mine had been done on my car? as i brought it like that,

had a call from the engine rebuilder and looks like mine is full of sand blasting beeds as he had just rebuilt the head and placed it on top and all the lovely bits of shit came out of the baffles, maybe why my turbo died and my oil pump as that stuff is nasty.
