I'm abit dubious with tuners to be honest, its in their interest to sell more parts.

Personnaly i'd save and do the full rebuild in one go
I think to a certain degree tuners have to cover their own backs, as if they push the limits of reliablility on a standardish car and the customer then goes and blows it up then they can be held liable (not to mention the reputation they'd lose).

Olly can take his car up to the edge as he can rebuild it himself if it goes wrong (wouldn't we all like to be able to do that!!).

I agree though, a lot of tuners use our ignorance to sell us uneccessary and/or over-priced parts and just plain rip us off (i.e. FCDs we don't need, ARP rod bolts for £300 etc...). Just do your homework like me though, figure who those tuners are and never use them.
