engine fan not coming on

i have this problem as well, almost convinced that it is the ECU causing the problem

Ok Lads did a look and, found yes there is indeed a earth connection via the ECU terminal 9 which is a BLUE wire this runs to the fan Relay after coming from the Radiator Fan switch so if you cut the wire at the Relay then re earth there (test first with multireader) then see if fans come on (engine cold) if not then good. warm engine and repeat if now come on when oil temp is above 100-110 then job done. I'll re ask a mate of mine who wired a switch for me so i can turn the fans on remotly but im sure this is the method used only he spliced into the Fan sensor reading (IE telling the RELAY the engine was Hot) works a treat in summer crusing!
