Thanks. I'll try it out. hopefully i'll manage to break loose the big drive shaft nut

32mm deep socket and a breaker bar;-) if i remember correctly you dont need to turn the wheel all the way to the right to remove the ds shaft as its not as long as the ps one so if you do turn full rh lock it wont come out smoothly....

if you only want to work on engine, you can leave the driveshafts connected to the box, just remove them from the hubs, and withdraw the whole lot altogether;-) then you dont have to worry about draining the oil!

Great Keiron. I removed engine this evening and this drive shaft removal method works great and saves a lot of time

Hopefully it was my last Engine-out of this year.
