I'm looking in to fitting larger brakes which means I will need spacers this lead me to do a bit of measuring and I was quite surprised to see that the front wheel base is 50mm wider than the rear when you measure from hub surface to hub surface, I always thought on a 4wd you would have a wider rear track.
Front wheel base wider than rear ?

The car is primarily FWD based, and although I've never measured it as you have, it would make sense for it to be like that.
