You not considered converting the S1 to 4wd? Would help out with the traction problem and still be ablt to keep a car you have spent a lot of time on.

its an imense amout of work mate.. and the whole design of the car has to be changed.. and i wouldnt be able to use the current engine

Ah right, did't think about that bit :lol: Forgot the 4WD set-up has the engine sitting different.

There will be a few R's out there mate that have good potential for you, just need to find them. Sweeny had a nice R for sale as well with a fully re-built engine etc.
