How to unplug ABS

So here´s the dumbass question of the week; I´ve got an error code 7 on my ABS unit, and I wanted to check the resistance of the sensor. But I can´t unplug it! What´s the trick to getting the darn-diddly-arned plug out of its socket?

Already did the small flat screwdrivers thing, maybe I´m sticking it somewhere wrong. I would think it should go between the connector and the metal tab it´s connected to first, and then you can get the plug out? At least that´s how it works on my Honda.

I actually left the hub connected to the car by the cable when I was changing the wheel bearing because I couldn't get the ABS connector undone.
