Howdy

not be offended by mean words.
During the unglory days it was a bit brutal in hindsight, amusing at the time no doubt but a bit much really.

Some of the targets used to seem to get quite upset

Every now and then i’ll have a little search and read some of them for old times sake and have a little chuckle at it all.

You know mate I have to own up to going a bit far sometimes, I got a bit carried away sometimes. I get something in my head and just go with it my mother says I have no filter.

But I'm older and a bit wiser, I wouldn't say I'm pleasant I'm just a bit more thoughtful about what I say.

But I'm older
The onward march of time waits for no man Rob, good to see you are still alive and kicking.

I’m turning 50 this year

I consider getting another gtir every now and then but dont really want to end up in an another expensive hole again, i already have one of those sort of projects that i’m slowly pulling myself out of.

I very nearly got another Gtir about 3 years ago but after talking to my old forum tag team partner Mark about availability of spares and what not and deciding it wasn’t worth the bother i brought a stupidly low mileage Abarth 595 that some fella brought new for his 70th birthday and instantly hated and never drove and i messed around with that instead.

I still have some gtir parts, found some valve shims in a tool box, will probably be buried with those

I know I'm old because I prefer driving my grand cherokee diesel than a pulsar these days, To be honest the way my back is and my weight I doubt I'd even be able to get in and out of a pulsar now, If I ever win the lottery I'm buying a trackhawk you can keep your go carts .

outlive your abarth
The Abarths are good little cars when done properly, makes me smile every time i drive it.

It’s like having a modern r5gtt.

Terribly underpowered from the factory though, turbo and everything that goes with it needs chucking in the bin instantly and replacing. They should come out at 260hp as standard. Thats nice and safe and will run flat out all day at that.

They’re very similar to old days of the gtirs in the fact that lots of muppets claim to be able to tune them and they cant. Flashing maps instead of writing them specifically for the car and without knowing what the map is they’re flashing some of them are making an absolute cock of it.
