I have just found out my N0 2 piston was fcuked

must be the season....... have you had it out yet? let us know what happens.

86mm is the standard bore, was thinking maybe he could stretch to 87mm after reboring and checking for straightness.

Yeah, there's no problem in going straight to 87mm. The only thing to consider is if you need another overbore in the future, you're starting to run low on options.

I would imagine that its not just P4 thats got the problem. If your running high boost get some good forged units (dont just buy the first thing you see) Mr GTIR will point you in the right direction as hes doing the same now>>> PM him and he will give you all the info you need
