TR-1`s made car handle BAD!

I got my buddyclub wheels and Toyo R888's today (group buy).

The day job took a back seat as I wanted to pop em on and get them ready for knockhill track day on Sunday 18th.
Having ran standard wheels and tyres on this car since I bought it in November, the 205/50/15 setup has changed the characteristics of the car completely. With the standard setup, the car felt very nimble, and would throw it's self through the bends. I would get tyre roll though and often felt they were ready to pop off their rims.
With the 205/50/15 setup I feel like I realy have to pull it through the bends and off camber, they want to lead the car. The change I guess is because I have much more rubber on the road now, sticky rubber at that and I'm looking forward to taking them round the track... or them taking me round. I'll keep you posted on let you know what tyre pressures worked best... I'm running 36 front, 34 rear at the moment.

i have these toyo's on my integrale and ran them on my old escort cossie they feel great, but a few months back i had a e36 m3 and decided to replace the rears with the toyo's in question. Exactly the same effect you are experiencing is what i had, i then changed the fronts to toyo's and the problem became about 50% better but it was still there. Once the tyre's had done 3-4k the problem was nearly gone.
If you go on the m power owners club and do a search you will see alot of people don't like them for that reason, in my opinion they are a great tyre. I think they are very car/setup sensitive
Run a set of pirelli p zero's or eagle f1's and i bet you don't get the same problem, that is what i did with the m3 and the day i put the pzero's on the m3 it felt great.
