what bhp from 1.2 bar?

i think R owners have had amazing results. well i still have the standard tubby and with the mongoose at 1 bar got 279bhp with 271 ft lbs after getting a backbox made as car was so loud and getting 302 bhp at 1.2 bar. what exhausts did you people have to get over 320bhp? was it a mongoose? i may go for a new custom made exhaust if ive lost power but would definately want boxes in it to keep it quiet as standard. what do you guys think?

tbh I wouldn't beat yourself up about bhp figures as there just figures and not to be trusted :wink: you'll see from the terminal speeds set by cars running different power but the same boost that there all pretty much in the area which indicates there pretty much the same power no matter what the rolling road says :roll:

321hp & 288lbft @ 1.2 bar

FMIC
Full mongoose exhaust (including decat)
fuel pressure regulator
group A fuel pump
Mushroom air filter.

It varies. You can get 2 cars of the same spec and boost and they can come up with very different hp/torque outputs.

(Now its 362hp 298lbft @ 1.35bar, with the above + cams, injectors, gasflowed head & AFM)
